Experience

Valerie has over 30 years experience in tax, accounting, and business consulting working with private closely held businesses and individuals. Valerie is a member of the tax department at Gumbiner Savett and is skilled in all aspects of tax compliance and planning. She assists clients in optimizing their tax situations with a particular emphasis on recognizing income and deductions for tax purposes, maximizing available employment credits and other incentives such as manufacturing deductions. She also assists clients with financial planning, estate planning and financing their businesses and mortgages.

Valerie is committed to the advancement of the accounting profession through her work with LMU and CalCPA. She also volunteers her time as the treasurer of a non-profit group in Torrance, California.

Valerie enjoys ballroom dancing, golf, antique collecting, movies, card playing and traveling.
